2019 Copa Federación De España
The 2019 Copa Federación de España is the 27th edition of the Copa Federación de España, also known as Copa RFEF, a knockout competition for Spanish football clubs in Segunda División B and Tercera División. The competition began in late July with the first games of the Regional stages and will end in November 2019 with the national final. As part of the new competition format, the four semifinalists will join the 2019–20 Copa del Rey first round. Regional tournaments West Andalusia and Ceuta tournament Utrera was the only registered team and qualified directly for national phase. East Andalusia and Melilla tournament Vélez was the only registered team and qualified directly for national phase. Aragon tournament Eight teams joined the tournament in the 2019–20 edition. The 2018–19 Copa Federación de España was the 26th edition of the Copa Federación de España, also known as Copa RFEF, a knockout competition for Spanish football clubs in Segunda División B and Tercera División. CD Mirandés, Mirandés won the trophy, a cash prize of €90,152 and the qualification for the next year tournament. The runner-up received a cash prize of €30,051 and every semifinalist €12,020. Additionally, each winner of autonomous community tournament received €3,005. The competition began in late July 2018 with the first games of the Regional stages and ended on 28 March 2019 with the national final. Club Deportivo Llanes is a football team based in Llanes in the autonomous community of Asturias. Founded in 1949, the team plays in . The club's home ground is '' San José'', which has a capacity of 2,000 spectators. History CD Llanes was founded in 1949 and played its first 50 years in the Regional divisions. In 1999 the club achieves its first promotion ever to Tercera División, where it played almost every season since that year. In 2009 and 2010, the club qualified for the promotion playoffs to Segunda División B. In its first attempt, Llanes was eliminated in the first round by Alicante B after a penalty shoot-out. Unión Deportiva Llanera is a Spanish football club based in Posada de Llanera, in the autonomous community of Asturias. Founded in 1981, it plays in , holding home matches at ''Estadio Pepe Quimarán''. History The first team called ''UD Llanera'' was founded in 1961. This team played in Segunda Regional until the 1969–70, before being disbanded. In 1981, two former players of the old club convinced Pepe Quimarán, whose name was given to the new stadium of the club, to create a new UD Llanera. In 1987 the club achieved its first promotion ever to Primera Regional. From 1994 to 1997, the senior team of UD Llanera was disbanded, but the youth teams continued their activity. Club Deportivo Praviano is a football team based in Pravia in the autonomous community of Asturias in Spain. Founded in 1949, the team plays in . Copa Federación De España (Asturias Tournament)
The Asturias tournament is the previous round of the Copa RFEF in Asturias. Organized by the Royal Asturias Football Federation, the Asturian teams in Segunda División B and the best teams of the Tercera División (Group 2) non qualified to the Copa del Rey (making a total of 12 teams) play this tournament, including farm teams. Real Sporting is the only team who never played the Copa Federación due to playing in higher divisions. Format The tournament is played between July and October, and the champion of the tournament qualifies to the National tournament of the Copa RFEF. Since 1999, the final is played in only one game and since 2001, the qualifying round is composed by four groups of three teams where the four group winners qualify for the semifinals, except for the 2020 edition where it was a knockout tournament for reducing the number of games due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Asturias.
