2019 Big Ten Men's Soccer Tournament
The 2019 Big Ten Conference men's soccer tournament was the 29th edition of the tournament. It determined the Big Ten Conference's automatic berth into the 2019 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament. Maryland hosted the semifinal and final rounds of the tournament. Defending champions, Indiana, successfully defended their title, giving the program their 13th Big Ten Tournament championship. They defeated Michigan in the final in a penalty shoot-out. Ludwig Field
Ludwig Field (officially Kehoe Track at Ludwig Field) is an association football stadium located on the campus of the University of Maryland (UMD) in College Park, Maryland. Since its opening in 1995, it has been the home of the Terrapin men's and women's soccer teams. The facility also includes a running track. History Kehoe Track at Ludwig Field was dedicated on September 16, 1995 and is home to the University of Maryland's track and field and soccer teams. Built at a cost of $2.5 million, the facility is named after former Maryland track head coach and Director of Athletics Jim Kehoe, and Bob and Louise Ludwig, long-time supporters of Maryland Athletics. Jeffrey Field is an outdoor college soccer stadium in University Park, Pennsylvania, United States, on the campus of Pennsylvania State University. It has been home to Penn State Nittany Lions men's soccer and Penn State Nittany Lions women's soccer since 1972. The stadium was dedicated and named after the late-Bill Jeffrey, who was Penn State men's soccer head coach from 1926 until 1952. The Wisconsin Badgers men's soccer team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of University of Wisconsin–Madison in Madison, Wisconsin, United States. The Penn State Nittany Lions men's soccer team is an intercollegiate varsity sports team of Pennsylvania State University. The team is a member of the Big Ten Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The Indiana Hoosiers men's soccer team represents Indiana University Bloomington. The team is a member of the Big Ten Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. By any number of indicators, the Hoosiers are the most successful collegiate soccer program in the history of the sport.
