2019 Baltimore Ravens Season
The 2019 season was the Baltimore Ravens' 24th season in the National Football League (NFL) and their 12th under head coach John Harbaugh. This was the team's first season under general manager Eric DeCosta following the retirement of Ozzie Newsome. This season also marked the first year in which Terrell Suggs and Joe Flacco were not on the Ravens roster since 2002 and 2007, respectively, as Suggs left to join the Arizona Cardinals (later released and signed by the eventual Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs) and Flacco was traded to the Denver Broncos. The Ravens started the season as the only NFL team with three former Heisman Trophy winners on their roster: Lamar Jackson, Mark Ingram II, and Robert Griffin III. AFC North
The American Football Conference – Northern Division or AFC North is one of the four Division (sport), divisions of the American Football Conference (AFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The division was created after the NFL realigned its divisions upon expanding to 32 teams, with the 2002 NFL season marking the league's first season following this restructuring. The division consists of the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, and Pittsburgh Steelers. Prior to this realignment, these teams were members of the AFC Central Division, along with the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars. Marcus Peters
Marcus Peters (born January 9, 1993) is an American professional football cornerback. He was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the first round of the 2015 NFL draft and has also been a member of the Los Angeles Rams, Baltimore Ravens, and Las Vegas Raiders. 2002 Baltimore Ravens Season
The 2002 Baltimore Ravens season was the team's seventh season in the National Football League (NFL). They were unable to improve upon their previous output of 10–6, instead winning only seven games and missing the playoffs for the first time in three years. Baltimore's defense took a large step back from its normally high level of play in 2002. Terrell Raymonn Suggs (born October 11, 1982), nicknamed "T-Sizzle", is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker for 17 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Arizona State Sun Devils, and was recognized as a unanimous All-American. Ozzie Newsome Jr. (born March 16, 1956) is an American professional football executive and former player who is the executive vice president of player personnel of the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). Newsome was a tight end for the NFL's Cleveland Browns, and was general manager of the Ravens from 1996 to 2018. Newsome has been inducted into both the College Football Hall of Fame (1994) and the Pro Football Hall of Fame (1999).
