2019 Alpine Skiing World Cup – Men's Downhill
The men's downhill in the 2019 FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup involved eight events. Swiss skier Beat Feuz won his second consecutive season title in this discipline. The season was interrupted by the 2019 World Ski Championships, which were held from 4–17 February in Åre, Sweden. The men's downhill was held on 9 February. Downhill (ski Competition)
Downhill is a form of alpine skiing competition. Whereas the other alpine skiing events (Slalom skiing, slalom, giant slalom, Super-G, super giant slalom, and alpine skiing combined, combined) emphasize turning and technique, downhill emphasizes "the six components of technique, courage, speed, risk, physical condition and judgement", according to the International Ski Federation, FIS "International Ski Competition Rules (ICR)".. Hahnenkamm, Kitzbühel
The Hahnenkamm is a mountain in Europe, directly southwest of Kitzbühel in the Kitzbühel Alps of Austria. The elevation of its summit is above sea level.
