2018–19 Wake Forest Demon Deacons Women's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 Wake Forest Demon Deacons women's basketball team represented Wake Forest University during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Demon Deacons, led by seventh year head coach Jen Hoover, were members of the Atlantic Coast Conference and played their home games at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum. They finished the season 10–20, 1–15 in ACC play in last place. They lost in the first round of the ACC women's tournament to Virginia Tech. Previous season They finished the season 14–17, 5–11 in ACC play in eleventh place. They defeat Pittsburgh in the first round before losing in the second round of the ACC women's tournament to Miami (FL). The Demon Deacons were not invited to a post-season tournament. Jennifer Hoover
Jennifer Hoover (; born October 12, 1969) is currently an assistant coach with the Virginia Tech Hokies women's basketball, Virginia Tech women's basketball team. Career She was previously an assistant coach with the Kentucky Wildcats women's basketball, University of Kentucky women's basketball team since her appointment on July 11, 2022. Before coaching at Kentucky, she was the head coach at Wake Forest Demon Deacons women's basketball, Wake Forest University for ten seasons prior to her dismissal two months earlier on May 11. She was succeeded by Megan Gebbia fifteen days later on May 26. She played her collegiate career at Wake Forest and is the school's leading scorer and rebounder. Terry Sanford High School (formerly known as Fayetteville Senior High School) is a public high school in Fayetteville, North Carolina. It is named after Terry Sanford, who was a North Carolina state senator, Governor of North Carolina, and United States Senator. Arlington High School is a public high school located in Arlington, Tennessee, United States. It was started in 2004 and had an enrollment of 1,866 students in the 2023–24 school year.
