2018–19 UNC Wilmington Seahawks Men's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 UNC Wilmington Seahawks men's basketball team represented the University of North Carolina at Wilmington during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Seahawks, led by second-year head coach C. B. McGrath, played their home games at the Trask Coliseum as members of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA). They finished the season with an overall record of 10–23, and 5–13 in CAA play to finish in last place. Jackie Manuel
Jackie Kameron Manuel (born March 29, 1983) is an American basketball coach and former player who is an assistant coach at American University of the Patriot League. College career Born in West Palm Beach, Florida, Manuel gained notoriety as a defensive specialist for the North Carolina Tar Heels from 2001 to 2005. He started 85 out of 126 games for the Tar Heels. Manuel was also a tri-captain of UNC's 2005 National championship team. Professional career NBA D-League After not being selected in the 2005 NBA draft, Manuel was selected by the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the NBA Development League expansion draft. In 2005, he was injured most of the D-League season; he was signed by the Fayetteville Patriots but did not play one game due to injury. Valparaiso Crusaders Men's Basketball
The Valparaiso Beacons men's basketball team represents Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana. The basketball team competes in the Missouri Valley Conference, having joined that league in 2017 after 10 seasons in the Horizon League. The Beacons play in the Athletics-Recreation Center, which has a nominal capacity of 5,432. The record capacity 5,444 was reached on March 23, 2016, in the NIT Quarterfinal.
