2018–19 UAB Blazers Men's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 UAB Blazers basketball team represented the University of Alabama at Birmingham during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Blazers, led by third-year head coach Robert Ehsan, played their home games at the Bartow Arena as members of Conference USA. They finished the season 20–15, 10–8 in C-USA Play to finish in 5th place. They defeated Middle Tennessee and UTSA to advance to the semifinals of the C-USA tournament where they lost to Old Dominion. They received an at-large bid to the College Basketball Invitational where they lost in the first round to Brown. Previous season The Blazers finished the 2017–18 season 20–13, 10–8 C-USA play to finish in sixth place. Robert Ehsan
Robert Hassan Ehsan ( ; born May 3, 1982) is an American college basketball coach who is currently the head coach for the UIC Flames men's basketball, UIC Flames. From 2016–2020, he was the head men's basketball coach at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). A native of Sacramento, California, Ehsan was a four-year player at UC Davis Aggies men's basketball, UC Davis. He was a team captain as a senior in 2005. Ehsan served as an assistant coach at the University of Maryland from 2008 to 2011. When Gary Williams resigned, Ehsan was named interim head coach. He spent a season as an assistant at Virginia Tech before becoming an assistant coach at UAB Blazers men's basketball, UAB in 2012. 2017–18 Western Kentucky Hilltoppers Basketball Team
The 2017–18 Western Kentucky Hilltoppers men's basketball team represented Western Kentucky University during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Hilltoppers were led by head coach Rick Stansbury in his second season and played their home games at E. A. Diddle Arena in Bowling Green, Kentucky as fourth-year members of Conference USA. On October 16, 2017, assistant coach Ben Hansbrough resigned from WKU following his DUI arrest two days prior. They finished the season 27–11, 14–4 in C-USA play to finish in third place. They defeated UAB and Old Dominion to advance to the championship game of the C-USA tournament where they lost to Marshall. Plantersville, Alabama
Plantersville is an unincorporated community in Dallas County, Alabama, United States. It lies near the county's border with Autauga and Chilton counties. Chattanooga Mocs Men's Basketball
The Chattanooga Mocs men's basketball team represents the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in NCAA Division I men's competition. On March 30, 2022, Dan Earl was hired as the new head coach. Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens Men's Basketball
The Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens men's basketball team is the basketball team that represents University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware. The school's team was first fielded on the 1905–06 season, and currently competes in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I level as a member of the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) since 2001. Home games are played at the Acierno Arena at the Bob Carpenter Center. Delaware has appeared six times in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, most recently in 2022. Nathan Joseph Darling (born August 30, 1998) is a Canadian professional basketball player for the San Diego Clippers of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the UAB Blazers and the Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens. He is the first and only Blue Hens player in NBA history. High school career Darling attended DeMatha Catholic High School and was teammates with top recruit Markelle Fultz and football star Chase Young. Valparaiso Crusaders Men's Basketball
The Valparaiso Beacons men's basketball team represents Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana. The basketball team competes in the Missouri Valley Conference, having joined that league in 2017 after 10 seasons in the Horizon League.
