2018–19 Stanford Cardinal Men's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 Stanford Cardinal men's basketball team represented Stanford University during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Cardinal, led by third year head coach Jerod Haase, played their home games at Maples Pavilion as a member of the Pac-12 Conference. Previous season The Cardinal finished the 2017-18 season 19–16, 11–7 in Pac-12 play to finish in a three-way tie for third place; this was their most conference wins in a decade (since 2008). They lost in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 tournament to UCLA. They qualified for the NIT beating BYU in the first round but lost to Oklahoma State in the second round. Jerod Haase
Jerod Albert Haase (born April 1, 1974) is an American college basketball coach. He was the head coach for Stanford Cardinal men's team of the Pac-12 Conference from 2016 to 2024. Haase played college basketball at the University of California, Berkeley from 1992 to 1993, and then transferred to the University of Kansas to play under Roy Williams from 1994 to 1997. Haase was a Naismith and Wooden Award candidate while at Kansas. At Kansas, he only missed two games out of 101 and averaged 12.5 points per game, scoring 1,246 points over the span of his career. He was a member of the Big Eight all defensive team as a junior, and played at the World University Games in 1995. He then spent 13 years as an assistant under Williams at both Kansas and North Carolina before starting his own head coaching career. Cormac Joseph Ryan (born October 26, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for the Oklahoma City Blue of the NBA G League. DeLaSalle High School (Minneapolis)
DeLaSalle High School ( ) is a Catholic, college preparatory high school in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is located on Nicollet Island. History DeLaSalle opened in 1900 and has been administered by the De La Salle Brothers (French Christian Brothers) throughout its history. The school's current president is Patrick Felicetta. Enrollment peaked at 1654 boys in 1964, dropped to the range of 400–500 by the early 1970s despite the 1971–72 advent of co-education, and continued to decline to a 70-year low of 306 in 1991. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Generally, point guards are expected to be proficient in passing the ball and being able to get Assist (basketball), assists to teammates. Tyrell Terry
Tyrell Nate Terry (born September 28, 2000) is an American professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the Stanford Cardinal. Terry was selected 31st overall in the 2020 NBA draft by the Dallas Mavericks. He spent one season with the team before he was waived. Terry also played for the Memphis Grizzlies from December 2021 to July 2022. He retired prematurely from professional basketball in December 2022 due to anxiety issues before returning in 2024. Brewster Academy
Brewster Academy is a co-educational independent boarding school located on in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, United States. It occupies of shoreline along Lake Winnipesaukee.
