2018–19 Portland Pilots Men's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 Portland Pilots men's basketball team represented the University of Portland during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Pilots, led by third-year head coach Terry Porter, played their home games at the Chiles Center as members of the West Coast Conference. They finished the season 7–25, 0-16 in WCC play to finish in last place. They lost in the first round of the WCC tournament to San Diego. Previous season The Pilots finished the 2017–18 season 10–22, 4–14 in WCC play to finish in ninth place. They lost in the first round of the WCC tournament to Loyola Marymount. Terry Porter
Terry Porter (born April 8, 1963) is an American former college basketball coach and former player in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was most recently the head men's basketball coach at the Portland Pilots, University of Portland. A native of Wisconsin, he played college basketball at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point before being drafted 24th by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 1985 NBA draft. In Portland, he played ten seasons with two NBA All-Star Game, All-Star Game appearances. Porter spent 17 years in the NBA as a player. Following his retirement as a player in 2002, he began coaching in the league. Porter has twice been a head coach, first with his hometown Milwaukee Bucks and then with the Phoenix Suns. San Bernardino High School (SBHS) is an American public high school and city located at 1850 North E Street within San Bernardino, California and a member of the San Bernardino City Unified School District. Jesuit High School is a private, Catholic, college-preparatory school in Beaverton, Oregon United States. It was founded by the Jesuits in 1956 and uses a Jesuit, college-preparatory curriculum. It is coeducational and enrolls approximately 1,300 students of all faiths. History The school was the 43rd Jesuit High School to be established in the United States. The Pittsburgh Panthers men's basketball team is the NCAA Division I intercollegiate men's basketball program of the University of Pittsburgh, often referred to as "Pitt", located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
