Pallacanestro Olimpia Milano
Pallacanestro Olimpia Milano, commonly known as Olimpia Milano or as EA7 Emporio Armani Milan after its title sponsor, is an LBA Italian professional basketball team, based in Milan, Italy. Its colors are white and red, and the team is sometimes referred as "Scarpette Rosse" (Little Red Shoes) because team officials imported red Converse All-Star shoes for players from the United States. The tag line stuck, and the nickname is still used by many fans today. As per custom in the Italian league, sponsorship has kept the team name changing frequently. From 1930 until 1955, it was called Borletti Milano. From 1956 to 1973, it was renamed Simmenthal. Other famous sponsorship names were Billy, Simac, Tracer, and Philips, in the 1980s. Euroleague
The EuroLeague is a European men's professional basketball club competition. The league is widely recognised as the top-tier and the most prestigious men's basketball league in Europe. The league consists of 20 teams, of which 16 are given long-term licences and wild cards, making the league a semi-closed league. The league was first organized by FIBA in 1958, subsequently by ULEB in 2000 and then solely by Euroleague Basketball. The competition was introduced in 1958 as the FIBA European Champions Cup (renamed the FIBA EuroLeague in 1996), which operated under FIBA's umbrella until Euroleague Basketball was created for the 2000–01 season. The FIBA European Champions Cup and the EuroLeague are considered to be the same competition, with the change of name being simply a re-branding. Alen Omić (born 6 May 1992) is a Slovenian professional basketball player for Budućnost of the Prva A Liga and the Adriatic League. Professional career Omić started playing professional basketball for Zlatorog Laško. In 2009, he signed with Zlatorog and stayed with the club for three seasons until 2012. On 30 August 2012, Omić signed a four-year deal with Union Olimpija. In July 2014, Omić joined the Brooklyn Nets for the 2014 NBA Summer League. Andrea Cinciarini (born 21 June 1986) is an Italian professional basketball player for Scafati Basket of the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA). Professional career In 2012 he signed with Pallacanestro Reggiana. On 27 April 2014 Cinciarini won the European 3rd-tier league, the EuroChallenge.
