2018–19 Northwestern Wildcats Men's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 Northwestern Wildcats men's basketball team represented Northwestern University in the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by sixth-year head coach Chris Collins as members of the Big Ten Conference. They played their home games at the newly renovated Welsh-Ryan Arena in Evanston, Illinois. The Wildcats finished the season 13–19, 4–16 in Big Ten play to finish in last place. They lost in the first round of the Big Ten tournament to Illinois. Previous season The Wildcats finished the 2017–18 season 15–17, 6–12 in Big Ten play to finish in 10th place. They lost in the second round of the Big Ten tournament to Penn State. Chris Collins (basketball)
Christopher Ryan Collins (born April 19, 1974) is an American basketball coach who is currently the head men's coach at Northwestern Wildcats men's basketball, Northwestern University. Collins previously served as associate head coach of the Duke University Duke Blue Devils men's basketball, men's basketball team and is the son of National Basketball Association (NBA) player, coach, and commentator Doug Collins (basketball), Doug Collins. Playing career At Glenbrook North High School in Northbrook, Illinois, Collins played on the varsity basketball team and won Illinois Mr. Basketball and McDonald's All American honors. Grand Canyon Antelopes Men's Basketball
The Grand Canyon Antelopes men's basketball team represents Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. They are a member of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). They are led by head coach Bryce Drew and play their home games at Global Credit Union Arena. They made the jump to NCAA Division I and joined the WAC on July 1, 2013. During their time as a member of the NAIA, they were national champions in 1975, 1978, and 1988. Miller Dudley Kopp (born November 24, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for the Oklahoma City Blue of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Northwestern Wildcats and the Indiana Hoosiers. The Evansville Purple Aces men's basketball team represents the Purple Aces of the University of Evansville, located in Evansville, Indiana, in NCAA Division I basketball competition. Scott Christopher Lindsey (born May 20, 1996) is an American professional basketball player for the Edmonton Stingers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL).
