2018–19 NC State Wolfpack Men's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 NC State Wolfpack men's basketball team represented North Carolina State University during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Wolfpack, led by second-year head coach Kevin Keatts, played its home games at PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina and were members of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). They finished the season 24–12, 9–9 in ACC play to finish in a tie for eighth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the ACC tournament to Virginia. They received a bid to the NIT where they lost in the quarterfinals to Lipscomb. Previous season The Wolfpack finished the 2017–18 season 21–12, 11–7 in ACC play to finish in a tie for third place. They lost in the second round of the ACC tournament to Boston College. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament where they lost in the first round to Seton Hall. Kevin Keatts
Kevin Andre Keatts (born July 28, 1972) is an American college basketball coach who was most recently the head coach at NC State Wolfpack men's basketball, North Carolina State University. Early life and playing career Keatts grew up as an only child in Lynchburg, Virginia. His father was a masonry instructor at Amherst County High School, and Keatts worked as his apprentice on the weekends. He attended Heritage High School (Lynchburg, Virginia), Heritage High School and played point guard on their basketball team as well as quarterback on their football team. As starting quarterback, Keatts led the football team to be ranked the best in the state, losing only one game his entire career. He played basketball for Ferrum College, averaging 13.3 points per game by his senior year. The 2017–18 Boston College Eagles men's basketball team represented Boston College during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Eagles, led by fourth-year head coach Jim Christian, played their home games at the Conte Forum as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. They finished the season 19–16, 7–11 in ACC play to finish in 12th place. In the ACC tournament, they defeated Georgia Tech and NC State before losing in the quarterfinals to Clemson. The Eastern Kentucky Colonels men's basketball team is a college basketball team at Eastern Kentucky University (EKU), located in Richmond, Kentucky, United States.
