2018–19 NC State Wolfpack Women's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 NC State Wolfpack women's basketball team represented North Carolina State University during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Wolfpack, led by sixth-year head coach Wes Moore, played their home games at Reynolds Coliseum and were members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. They finished the season 28–6, 11–5 in ACC play to finish in a tie for third place. They advanced to the semifinals of the ACC women's tournament, where they lost to Louisville. They received at-large bid of the NCAA women's tournament, where they defeated Maine and Kentucky in the first and second rounds to advance to the sweet sixteen for the 2nd straight year where they lost to Iowa. Wes Moore (basketball)
Frank Weston Moore (born April 22, 1957) is an American college basketball coach who is the current women's basketball head coach at NC State Wolfpack women's basketball, NC State. A head coach at all three levels of NCAA women's college basketball since 1987, Moore has been named Coach of the Year eight times by three conferences and over 20 regular season or conference tournament championships. Moore grew up in Dallas and played college basketball at Johnson University, Johnson Bible College. He began his coaching career as a men's basketball coach at Johnson Bible in 1984. Then in 1987, Moore became head coach for a struggling women's basketball program at Maryville Scots, Maryville College and instantly turned the program into a winner, with five NCAA Division III women's basketball tournament, NCAA Division III Tournament appearances and over 130 wins in six seasons. Brookswood Secondary School
Brookswood Secondary School is located in the community of Brookswood in Langley, British Columbia.
