2018–19 Louisville Cardinals Men's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 Louisville Cardinals men's basketball team represented the University of Louisville during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team played its home games on Denny Crum Court at the KFC Yum! Center in downtown Louisville, Kentucky as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. They were led by first-year head coach Chris Mack who was hired on March 27, 2018, after it was announced interim coach David Padgett would not be retained. Christopher Lee Mack (born December 30, 1969) is an American college basketball coach who is currently the head coach at the College of Charleston. He formerly served as head coach for the Louisville Cardinals men's basketball, University of Louisville and Xavier Musketeers men's basketball, Xavier University. Anas Osama Mahmoud (; born May 9, 1995) is an Egyptian professional basketball player who plays for Al Ittihad Alexandria of the Egyptian Basketball Super League. Quentin Snider (born February 14, 1996) is an American professional basketball player. High School career Snider played for Ballard High School, at Louisville, Kentucky. College career Snider played for Louisville from 2014 until 2018. Professional career Snider started his professional with Benfica in Portugal. After he played ten games for Benfica he was waived.
