The 2018–19 season was Ipswich Town's 17th consecutive season in the second tier of English football and 141st year in existence. Along with competing in the Championship, the club also participated in the FA Cup, going out in the third round, and League Cup, in which they were eliminated in the first round. Ipswich () is a port town and Borough status in the United Kingdom, borough in Suffolk, England. Kayden Jackson
Kayden Pastel Dunn Jackson (born 22 February 1994) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker and winger for club Derby County. Jackson began his professional career at Swindon Town, having previously played non-league football at Albion Sports. During his time with Swindon he had loan spells at Swindon Supermarine and Oxford City. He moved to Tamworth in 2014, where he spent one season before joining Wrexham in 2015. Cole Skuse
Cole Skuse (born 29 March 1986) is an English former footballer who played as a midfielder. He is currently the manager of Bury Town. He started his footballing career at Bristol City, where he graduated from the club's academy and went on to make over 300 appearances in all competitions in a nine-year spell with the club. He joined Ipswich Town on a free transfer in 2013, going on to spend eight years at Ipswich before departing in 2021. He joined fellow East Anglian club Colchester United later the same year. Luke Chambers (born 28 September 1985) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender. Primarily a centre back, he could also play at right back. Chambers made 792 appearances in the English Football League, placing him in the top ten list of all time. Jonas Hjort Knudsen (born 16 September 1992) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a defender. He played for Esbjerg fB from 2009 before signing with Ipswich Town in 2015.
