2018–19 George Mason Patriots Men's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 George Mason Patriots Men's basketball team represented George Mason University during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The season marked the 53rd for the program, the fourth under head coach Dave Paulsen, and the sixth as members of the Atlantic 10 Conference. The Patriots played their home games at EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, Virginia. They finished the season 18-15, 11-7 in A-10 Play to finish in 5th place. They defeated George Washington in the second round of the A-10 tournament before losing in the quarterfinals to St. Bonaventure. Previous season They finished last season 16–17, 9–9 in A-10 play to finish in a four-way tie for fifth place. As the No. 5 seed in the A-10 tournament, they defeated Massachusetts in the second round before losing to Saint Joseph's in the quarterfinals. Dave Paulsen
Dave Paulsen (born September 14, 1964) is an American college basketball coach who is currently the head coach at Holy Cross. Previously, he was the head men's basketball coach at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Before arriving at George Mason, he was previously the head coach at Bucknell University for seven seasons. Prior to Bucknell, he spent eight years as the head coach at his alma mater, Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts, and also coached at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, and Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York. Coaching career At Williams College, Paulsen won the NCAA Division III title in 2003, and finished as national runner up in 2004. Paulsen was twice named Division III Coach of the Year during his time at Williams. On May 20, 2008, Paulsen was hired as head coach at Bucknell. DeLaSalle High School ( ) is a Catholic, college preparatory high school in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is located on Nicollet Island. History DeLaSalle opened in 1900 and has been administered by the De La Salle Brothers (French Christian Brothers) throughout its history. The school's current president is Patrick Felicetta. Justin Kier
Justin Kier (born May 30, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for Heroes Den Bosch of the BNXT League. He played college basketball for the Arizona Wildcats of the Pac-12 Conference. He also played for the George Mason Patriots and the Georgia Bulldogs. High school career Kier attended Spotswood High School. In his career, he scored 1700 points for Spotswood and earned Valley District Player of the Year honors. Otis Antoine Livingston II (born October 12, 1996) is an American professional basketball player who plays for Bàsquet Girona of the Spanish Liga ACB.
