2018–19 Eliteserien (women's Handball)
The 2018–19 Eliteserien is the 52nd season of the Eliteserien (women's handball), Eliteserien, Norway's premier handball league. Team information A total of 12 teams will be participating in the 2018/19 edition of Eliteserien. 9 teams were qualified directly from the 2017–18 Eliteserien (women's handball), 2017/18 season. The two top ranked teams from the First Division, Fana Håndball, Fana and Skrim Kongsberg, and third-place finisher Rælingen HK who defeated Sola HK in the relegation playoff were promoted to the Eliteserien. Eliteserien (women's Handball)
REMA 1000-ligaen is the premier women's professional handball league for Norwegian handball clubs. It is administered by the Norwegian Handball Federation, and the winners are recognized as Norwegian champions. It was established in 1967, and it is currently contested by fourteen teams. Larvik HK is the championship's most successful team with nineteen titles, followed by IL Vestar with nine and Vipers Kristiansand with seven. Currently the winner of the championship play-offs is granted a spot in the Women's EHF Champions League, EHF Champions League's group stage. There are fourteen teams in the 2025/26 season, where Storhamar HE is the defending champion. No teams were relegated after Vipers Kristiansand went backrupt. Kongsberg
Kongsberg () is a historical mining town and municipality in Buskerud county, Norway. The city is located on the river Numedalslågen at the entrance to the valley of Numedal. Oslo

Jotron Arena Larvik is an indoor arena in Larvik, Norway. It was opened in September 2009.
