2018–19 Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners Men's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners men's basketball team represented California State University, Bakersfield in the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Roadrunners were led by eighth-year head coach Rod Barnes and competed at the Icardo Center. CSU Bakersfield was a member of the Western Athletic Conference. They finished the season 18–16, 7–9 in WAC play to finish in a tie for fifth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the WAC tournament to Texas–Rio Grande Valley. They were invited to the CollegeInsider.com Tournament where they defeated Cal State Fullerton in the first round to win the Riley Wallace Classic and defeated Southern Utah in the second round before losing in the quarterfinals to Green Bay. Rod Barnes
Rodrick Kenneth Barnes (born January 8, 1966) is an American college basketball coach. He is the head men's basketball coach at California State University, Bakersfield, a position he has held since 2011. Barnes held the same position at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) from 1998 to 2006 and Georgia State University from 2007 to 2011. Playing and early coaching career Barnes played college basketball at the University of Mississippi of the NCAA Division I's Southeastern Conference from 1985 to 1988. He earned All-SEC and All-America honorable mention honors in 1988. Barnes earned his business administration degree in 1989 and left Ole Miss to become an assistant coach at Livingston University in 1990. In 1993, Barnes returned to Ole Miss to serve as an assistant coach to Rob Evans. The 2017–18 Utah Valley Wolverines men's basketball team represented Utah Valley University in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Wolverines, led by third-year head coach Mark Pope, played their home games at the UCCU Center in Orem, Utah as members of the Western Athletic Conference. They finished the season 23–11, 10–4 in WAC play to finish in second place. Panola College is a public community college in Carthage, Texas, the county seat of Panola County. Southaven High School
Southaven High School is a suburban public high school located in Southaven, Mississippi, United States. It opened in the fall of 1971, when construction was completed enough so that students could start the first classes. The original school taught 6th through 12th.
