Barnsley () is a market town in South Yorkshire, England. It is the main settlement of the Metropolitan Borough of Barnsley and the fourth largest settlement in South Yorkshire. Barnsley Football Club
Barnsley Football Club is a professional football club in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, England. The club competes in League One, the third tier of English football. Nicknamed "the Colliers", they were founded in 1887 by Reverend Tiverton Preedy and moved to Oakwell the following year. The club's original blue colours were changed to red and white in 1904. Barnsley spent the 1890s in the Sheffield & District, Midland and Yorkshire leagues, before gaining admittance to the Football League Second Division in 1898. They twice reached the final of the FA Cup whilst still in the second tier, losing to Newcastle United in 1910 and winning the competition over West Bromwich Albion in 1912. Liam Lindsay
Liam James Lindsay (born 12 October 1995) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a centre back for club Preston North End. Lindsay started his career with Partick Thistle breaking into the first team at Firhill after loan spells with Alloa Athletic and Airdrieonians. After a successful 2016–17 season with the Jags which saw him named in the PFA Scotland Team of the Year, Lindsay joined English Championship side Barnsley. The Tykes were relegated from the Championship in 2017–18 but were able to gain an instant return in 2018–19 finishing 2nd in EFL League One. Ethan Rupert Pinnock (born 29 May 1993) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for club Brentford. Born in England, he plays for the Jamaica national team. Zeki Fryers
Ezekiel David Fryers (born 9 September 1992) is an English professional footballer who plays as a left-back for AFC Eskilstuna. He began his career at Manchester United where he made his first team debut appearance, he left United and was bought by Belgian club Standard Liège, where he spent a year before returning to England with Tottenham Hotspur. After another season, he was sold to Crystal Palace, where he made appearances again in the first team. He spent time on loan at Rotherham United and Ipswich Town before he was released. He signed for Barnsley in 2017, but was again released at the end of the 2018–19 season and joined Swindon Town.
