2018 Winter Olympics
The 2018 Winter Olympics (), officially the XXIII Olympic Winter Games (; ) and also known as PyeongChang 2018 (), were an international winter multi-sport event held between 9 and 25 February 2018 in Pyeongchang County, South Korea, with the opening rounds for certain events held on 8 February, a day before the 2018 Winter Olympics opening ceremony, opening ceremony. Pyeongchang was selected as the host city for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games, Winter Games at the 123rd IOC Session in Durban, South Africa on 6 July 2011. This marked the second time that South Korea had hosted the Olympic Games (having previously hosted the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul), as well as the first time it hosted the Winter Olympics. Bacolod, officially the City of Bacolod (; ; ; ), is a Cities of the Philippines#Legal classification, highly urbanized city in the Negros Island Region in the Philippines. Tegernsee () is a Town#Germany, town in the Miesbach (district), Miesbach district of Bavaria, Germany. Shenzhen is a prefecture-level city in the province of Guangdong, China. Cape Arkona
Cape Arkona (), also spelled Arcona, is a 45-metre (150-foot) high Cape (geography), cape on the island of Rügen in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. It forms the tip of the Wittow peninsula, just a few kilometres north of the Jasmund National Park. The protected landscape of Cape Arkona, together with the fishing village of Vitt, belongs to the municipality of Putgarten and is one of the most popular tourist destinations on Rügen, receiving about 800,000 visitors annually. Dupnitsa, or Dupnica ( (previously ), ), is a town in Western Bulgaria. It is at the foot of the highest mountains in the Balkan Peninsula – the Rila Mountains, and about south of the capital Sofia. Dupnitsa is the second largest town in Kyustendil Province. History The town has existed since ancient times. is a city located in the Sorachi Subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan.
