2018 Elections In Italy
The 2018 Italian general election was held on 4 March 2018 after the Italian Parliament was Dissolution of parliament in Italy, dissolved by President Sergio Mattarella on 28 December 2017. The Chamber of Deputies () is the lower house of the bicameral Italian Parliament, the upper house being the Senate of the Republic. The two houses together form a perfect bicameral system, meaning they perform identical functions, but do so separately. 2018 Lombard Regional Election
The 2018 Lombard regional election took place on 4 March 2018. The election took place concurrently with the 2018 Italian general election, Italian general election and the 2018 Lazio regional election, Lazio regional election. Electoral system Since 2012, Lombardy has adopted its legislation to elect its Council, very similar to the national ''Tatarella Law'' of 1995. Giuseppe Conte (; born 8 August 1964) is an Italian jurist, academic, and politician who served as Prime Minister of Italy, prime minister of Italy from June 2018 to February 2021. Paolo Gentiloni Silveri (; born 22 November 1954) is an Italian politician who was European Commissioner for Economy in the von der Leyen Commission from 1 December 2019 to 30 November 2024.
