2018 Women's South American Volleyball Club Championship
The 2018 Women's South American Volleyball Club Championship was the tenth official edition of the women's volleyball tournament, played by six teams from 20 to 24 February 2018 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Camponesa/Minas won its first title and qualified for the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship in Ningbo, China. Carol Gattaz was elected the Most Valuable Player. In team sport, captain is a title given to a member of the team. The title is frequently honorary, but in some cases the captain may have significant responsibility for strategy and teamwork while the game is in progress on the field. In either case, it is a position that indicates honor and respect from one's teammates – recognition as a leader by one's peers. Rosamaria Montibeller (; born 9 April 1994) is a Brazilian volleyball player. She usually plays as an opposite spiker and occasionally as a wing spiker. She won the silver medal while making her debut appearance at the Olympics representing Brazil at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
