2018 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship
The 2018 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship (also known as UEFA Women's Under-17 Euro 2018) was the 11th edition of the UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship. It is the annual international youth association football, football championship organised by UEFA for women under-17 of Europe national teams. Lithuania, which were selected by UEFA on 26 January 2015, hosted the tournament from 9 to 21 May 2018. A total of eight teams played in the tournament, with players born on or after 1 January 2001 were the ones eligible to participate. Each match had a duration of 80 minutes, consisting of two halves of 40 minutes with a 15-minute half-time. Same as previous editions held in even-numbered years, the tournament acted as the UEFA qualifiers for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup. The top three teams of the tournament qualified for the 2018 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Uruguay as UEFA representatives. Early and personal life Martinez was born in 2001 to an Angolan father and an American mother of Mexican and German descent. She grew up in East Hesse, Germany. 2013 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship
The 2013 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship was the sixth edition of the UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship. The first matches were played on 3 September 2012. With the return of Slovakia, who haven't played since the inaugural edition, and U-17 newcomers Montenegro, a new record of 44 participating nations was set. The final tournament was played for the last time in Nyon with four teams. Starting the next edition of the tournament, eight countries will contest the final tournament with the host changing every edition. Dutch player Vivianne Miedema set a competition record by netting eight goals in a match against Kazakhstan. She also became the tournament's all-time top scorer with 20 goals. Marijampolė Football Arena, also referred to as Hikvision Arena or Sūduva Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Marijampolė, Lithuania. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Sūduva. History The stadium was built using funds from the European Union and opened on July 6, 2008. In May–June 2009, the stadium's original seating capacity of 4,200 was increased to hold 6,500 people. Central Stadium of Jonava is a multi-purpose stadium in Jonava, Lithuania. It currently has a capacity for 2,580 spectators. History The stadium underwent a phased reconstruction process. Kaunas State Musical Theatre
The Kaunas State Musical Theatre, formerly Kaunas City Theatre, is a theatre in Kaunas, Lithuania. It is home to a musical theatre company of the same name, established on 27 November 1940 in the former State Theatre hall on the Laisvės Alėja.
