2018 Taça Da Liga Final
The 2018 Taça da Liga Final was the final match of the 2017–18 Taça da Liga, the 11th season of the Taça da Liga. It was played on 27 January 2018 at Estádio Municipal de Braga. The competition involved the 33 clubs playing in the top two tiers of the Portuguese football league system – 18 from Primeira Liga and 15 from Segunda Liga – during the 2017–18 season. Reserve sides of Primeira Liga teams that played in the 2017–18 Segunda Liga were excluded from the competition. Vitória de Setúbal and Sporting CP faced off in a repeat of the competition's first final, held 10 years previously. Sporting CP won 5–4 on a penalty shoot-out after a 1–1 draw at the end of 90 minutes, winning the competition for the first time in their history. Estádio Municipal De Portimão
Estádio Municipal de Portimão is the current stadium of Portimonense S.C. It is located in the centre of Portimão in the Algarve, Portugal and was opened in 1937 for local football club Portimonense S.C. Its capacity is 4,961 people. It hosted Portimonense's stay in the Primeira Liga in the 1980s. In 2006, Portimonense were forced to play away from the Estádio Municipal in the Estádio Algarve, which – built for Euro 2004 – is 70 kilometres from Portimão. In February 2007, however, Portimonense returned home and the Portimão Municipality purchased the site five months later. This allowed the renovations required for the hosting of higher level competition: the installation of green seats (in the colours of the city), new turnstiles and security facilities. Arnaldo Edi Lopes da Silva (born 7 July 1982), known as Edinho, is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a striker. Over 11 seasons, he appeared in 185 Primeira Liga matches and scored a total of 49 goals for Braga (two spells), Paços de Ferreira, Vitória de Setúbal (twice) Marítimo, Académica and Feirense. Bas Leon Dost (; born 31 May 1989) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a striker. Having begun his career at FC Emmen in the Eerste Divisie, Dost later played in the Eredivisie for Heracles Almelo and SC Heerenveen.
