Petra Martić
Petra Martić (; born 19 January 1991) is a Croatian professional tennis player. She has a career-high WTA rankings, singles ranking of world No. 14, achieved in January 2020. Martić has won two singles titles on the WTA Tour, one singles and one doubles tournament on the WTA 125 tournaments, WTA Challenger Tour, plus four singles and five doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. Early and personal life Petra Martić was born in Split, Croatia, Split, SR Croatia, Croatia, SFR Yugoslavia to Nenad (father) and Sandra (mother). She grew up in the suburb of Duće, 30 km from Split, and moved to Split at the age of 10. Her father died in a car accident when Petra was five. Sesil Radoslavova Karatantcheva (; born 8 August 1989) is a Bulgarian former tennis player. On 7 November 2005, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 35. Varvara Petrivna Lepchenko (born May 21, 1986) is an Uzbekistani-born American professional tennis player. She is of Ukrainian descent and played for Uzbekistan before relocating to the United States. Her biggest success came in early 2015 when she reached her first WTA Tour final in January, followed by a fourth round major event appearance at the Australian Open.
