2018 NACAC Championships
The 2018 North American, Central American and Caribbean Championships was a regional track and field competition held at Varsity Stadium in Toronto, Canada, from August 10–12, 2018. It was the third edition of a senior track and field championship for the NACAC region, held three years after the 2015 NACAC Championships.Drouin still plans to continue training with the goal of being healthy to compete in the Commonwealth Games and NACAC Championships in 2018.

Lopez Lomong
Lopez Lomong (born January 5, 1985) is a South Sudanese-born American track and field athlete. Lomong, one of the Lost Boys of Sudan, came to the United States at the age of 16 and became a U.S. citizen in 2007. Lomong qualified for the 2008 Summer Olympics in the 1500 meters at the United States Olympic track and field trials in Eugene, Oregon. He was the flag bearer for the United States during the 2008 Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony. He is currently a member of Team Darfur, a group of athletes urging China to exert pressure on the Sudanese government to address the War in Darfur. Justyn Knight
Justyn Knight (born 19 July 1996) is a Canadian long-distance track runner. A successful collegiate runner during his time at Syracuse University, he was the school's most-decorated distance runner in cross country and track. On the professional scene, he has represented his country at the World and Olympic level, with his highest finish to date being seventh at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Riley Masters is a retired American mid-distance runner who specialized in the mile and 1,500 meters events. After a decorated career at Bangor High School in Bangor, Maine, Masters competed at the NCAA level for the University of Maine and then the University of Oklahoma, where he earned multiple All-American honors. He competed in the 2012 and 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials. Hassan Mead (Somali language, Somali: ''Xassan Miicaad'', ; born June 28, 1989) is a Somali-American long-distance runner. He was a Cross country running, cross country and Track and field, track athlete for the University of Minnesota. Charles Philibert-Thiboutot (; born 31 December 1990) is a Canadian middle-distance runner who specializes in the 1500 metres. In his specialty event, he has represented Canada at the 2015, 2022, and 2023 World Championships as well as at the 2016 Olympics, having reached the semi-final on all occasions. Izaic Yorks (born April 17, 1994) is an American middle-distance and long-distance runner. Yorks won 1500 m at 2018 NACAC Championships. As a member of the Washington Huskies, Izaic Yorks is an eight-time NCAA Division I All-American cross country and track and field runner. Marco Arop
Marco Arop (born September 20, 1998) is a Canadian track and field athlete competing in the middle distance events. Arop is the reigning world champion in the 800 m, winning gold at the 2023 World Athletics Championship, after winning bronze the previous year at the 2022 World Athletics Championships. He was the first Canadian to win a world championship in the 800 m. Arop was also the 2019 Pan American Games champion in 800 m. Brandon McBride
Brandon McBride (born June 15, 1994) is a Canadian track and field athlete competing in middle-distance events, predominantly in the 800 metres. He won the gold medal in the event at the 2018 NACAC Championships. McBride represented Canada at the 2016 Rio and 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
