2018 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship
The 2018 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship was the 9th edition of the CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship, the biennial international youth association football, football championship organised by CONCACAF for the women's under-20 national teams of the North, Central American and Caribbean region. The tournament was hosted by Trinidad and Tobago and took place between 18–28 January 2018, as announced by CONCACAF on 31 October 2017. A total of eight teams played in the tournament. The top three teams of the tournament qualified for the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in France as the CONCACAF representatives. The tournament also determined which three Caribbean nations participate in the Football at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games, 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games. Jordyn Pamela Huitema ( ; born May 8, 2001) is a Canadian professional Association football, soccer player who plays as a Forward (association football), forward for National Women's Soccer League club Seattle Reign FC and the Canada women's national soccer team, Canada national team. 2010 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship
The 2010 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship was the fifth edition of the CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship. The tournament was hosted by Guatemala, and all matches were played at the Estadio Cementos Progreso. The United States were the defending champions, having won the 2008 tournament, their second regional championship at the under-20 level. The top three sides at the 2010 tournament earned qualification to the 2010 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. The tournament was won by the United States, who defeated Mexico in the final, 1–0. Costa Rica secured the final qualification position by defeating Canada in the third place match, 1–0. Couva is a town in west-central Trinidad, south of Port of Spain and Chaguanas and north of San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago, San Fernando and Point Fortin. The Ato Boldon Stadium is an athletics and football stadium located in Balmain, Couva, Trinidad and Tobago. It is currently the home ground of Central and Club Sando. The 2018 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship qualification is a women's under-20 football competition which decides the participating teams of the 2018 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship. A total of eight teams will play in the final tournament. Players born on or after 1 January 1998 are eligible to compete in the tournament. The Unión Centroamericana de Fútbol (Central American Football Union), more commonly known by the acronym UNCAF, represents the national football teams of Central America: Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama.
