Western Sydney Wanderers Football Club (colloquially known as Western Sydney, Wanderers, or simply as WSW) is an Australian professional association football, association football club based in the Western Sydney region of Sydney, New South Wales. FFA Cup
The Australia Cup (currently known as the Hahn Australia Cup for sponsorship reasons) is the national soccer knockout cup competition in Australia. This annual competition is organised by Football Australia (known as Football Federation Australia until 2020). The Australia Cup comprises teams from the top division, A-League Men (known as simply the A-League before the 2021–22 season), as well as those from lower tiers in the Australian soccer league system. Teams enter in progressive stages, with qualifying rounds culminating with the competition proper, starting with the Round of 32. Mark Bridge
Mark Robert Bridge (born 7 November 1985) is a retired Australian professional football (soccer) player. Bridge is the Western Sydney Wanderers' first ever goalscorer, earning himself the nickname 'King Bridge' among fans. On 18 April 2015 in the 26th-round match against Adelaide United, Bridge became the ninth player to reach 200 A-League games. Club career Newcastle Jets Bridge joined Newcastle from Parramatta Power in 2005 during the inaugural A-League season. Jaushua James Elie Sotirio (born 11 October 1995) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for A-League Men club Sydney FC. Born in Australia, he plays for the New Caledonia national team. Kearyn Byron Baccus (born 5 September 1991) is a footballer who most recently played as a central midfielder for Macarthur FC in the A-League Men. Born in South Africa, he played as a youth international for Australia. Club career Baccus joined Sydney FC's youth set-up in 2008, and in 2010 moved to Europe where he joined French side Le Mans' youth set-up, not before trialling at Mallorca and Real Sociedad in Spain. Brendon James Santalab (; born 9 September 1982) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a striker for Victorian State League Division 1 side FC Strathmore. Club career Santalab originally started out as an apprentice at Parramatta Power before moving to Sydney United under the tutelage of Branko Culina. Álvaro Cejudo Carmona (; born 29 January 1984) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played mainly as a right winger. Rolieny Nonato Luis Bonevacia (born 8 October 1991) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. He has played international football at youth level for the Netherlands, while at senior level he represents Curaçao, making his first official appearance for them in June 2019. Steven Lustica (; born 12 April 1991) is an Australian soccer player who plays as a central midfielder. Marcelo Adrián Carrusca (; born 1 September 1983), is an Argentine-Australian former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder, and is the current Head of Junior Development for Adelaide United. Born in La Plata, Carrusca started his professional career at Estudiantes de La Plata before moving to Turkish side Galatasaray in 2006. After spending a season on loan for Mexican club Cruz Azul, Carrusca returned to Estudiantes in 2009, playing one further season at the club and one on loan at Banfield. After one season with San Martín de San Juan, Carrusca moved to A-League club Adelaide United in 2012, where he played for five seasons.
