Turkish Women's Volleyball League
Sultanlar Ligi (''Sultans League''), known for sponsorship reasons as Vodafone Sultanlar Ligi, is the highest professional women's volleyball league in Turkey. It is run by the Turkish Volleyball Federation and began with the 1984–85 season. 14 clubs are currently participating in the league. It is often regarded as the best professional women's volleyball league in the world. Its clubs have obtained significant successes in Europe, European and other international competitions. Eczacıbaşı VitrA, Eczacıbaşı are the most successful club, having won 16 championships so far. It succeeded the former Turkish Women's Volleyball Championship (1956–1984). Eda Erdem Dündar
Eda Erdem Dündar (, born Eda Erdem; 22 June 1987) is a Turkish people, Turkish professional volleyball player of Bosniaks, Bosniak descent. She currently plays for both Fenerbahçe S.K. (women's volleyball), Fenerbahçe SK and the Turkey women's national volleyball team, national team and is the captain of both teams. Eda Erdem has been playing for Fenerbahçe Women's Volleyball, Fenerbahçe since 2008. Career She began her career in the Beşiktaş youth academy in 2000. Emiliya Dimitrova (; born Emiliya Nikolova 26 December 1991) is a Bulgarian volleyball player for the Grand Rapids Rise of the Pro Volleyball Federation and the Bulgaria women's national volleyball team. Neslihan Demir (born 9 December 1983) is a retired Turkish volleyball star. She is one of the most successful athletes of Turkey and has been among FIVB Heroes. She represented her country as the flag bearer at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the official advertisement face of Turkey for the 2020 Summer Olympics candidateship along with basketballer Hedo Türkoğlu. Tijana Bošković ( sr-Cyrl, Тијана Бошковић; born 8 March 1997) is a Serbian professional volleyball player of VakıfBank S.K., VakıfBank.
