2017–18 Santa Clara Broncos Men's Basketball Team
The 2017–18 Santa Clara Broncos men's basketball team represented Santa Clara University during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Broncos were led by second-year head coach Herb Sendek and played their home games at the Leavey Center as members of the West Coast Conference. They finished the season 11–20, 8–10 in WCC play to finish in seventh place. They lost in the first round of the WCC tournament to Pepperdine. Previous season The Broncos finished the 2016–17 season 17–16, 10–8 in WCC play to finish in a tie for fourth place. They defeated San Francisco in the WCC tournament before losing in the semifinals to Gonzaga. Herb Sendek
Herbert Joseph Sendek Jr. (born February 22, 1963) is an American college basketball coach who is the current men's basketball head coach at Santa Clara. Early life Herbert Joseph Sendek Jr. grew up in Pittsburgh and attended Penn Hills High School. He starred as a point guard in basketball, lettering two years, serving as team captain, and earning All-East Suburban honors. He graduated with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average and was valedictorian of the Class of 1981. Sendek's father, Herb Sr., was a teacher and basketball coach at both the high school and junior college levels. Sendek is of Slovak descent. College career He played college basketball at Carnegie Mellon University, where he was a three-year letterman. The Southeast Missouri State Redhawks men's basketball team represents Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Ohio Valley Conference. The Redhawks play their home games at the Show Me Center. Prior to January 2005, the team's nickname was the Indians. Prior to joining NCAA Division I in 1991, they participated in the NAIA and NCAA Division II. They were NAIA national champions in 1943. Tahj Eaddy (born July 5, 1996) is an American professional basketball player for Kauhajoki Karhu of the Finnish Korisliiga. He played college basketball for the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks, the Santa Clara Broncos, and the USC Trojans. Colville, Washington
Colville is a city in Stevens County, Washington, United States. The population was 4,917 at the 2020 census. It is the county seat of Stevens County. History John Work, an agent for The Hudson's Bay Company, established Fort Colvile near the Kettle Falls fur trading site in 1825.
