2017–18 San Jose State Spartans Men's Basketball Team
The 2017–18 San Jose State Spartans men's basketball team represented San Jose State University in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Led by first-year head coach Jean Prioleau, the Spartans played their home games at the Event Center Arena as members of the Mountain West Conference. They finished the season 4–26, 1–17 in Mountain West play to finish in last place. They lost in the first round of the Mountain West tournament to Wyoming. Previous season The Spartans finished the 2016–17 season 14–16, 7–11 in MW play to finish in eighth place. They lost to Utah State in the first round of the Mountain West tournament. Jean Prioleau
Jéan-Edúard Prioleau (born March 30, 1970) is an American college basketball coach. He is currently assistant coach at Stephen F. Austin State University. Previously, he was head men's basketball coach at San Jose State from 2017 to 2021. Prioleau grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey, and graduated from Teaneck High School. played college basketball at Fordham, where he was a two-time all-Patriot League honoree and helped Fordham qualify for the NCAA tournament for the first time in over 20 years. From 1992 to 1999, Prioleau played professional basketball for the Continental Basketball Association in the U.S. and various European leagues. In 1999, Prioleau began his basketball coaching career at Fordham. Gonzaga Bulldogs Men's Basketball
The Gonzaga Bulldogs are an intercollegiate men's basketball program representing Gonzaga University. The school competes in the West Coast Conference in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The Gonzaga Bulldogs play home basketball games at McCarthey Athletic Center in Spokane, Washington, on the university campus. Clovis, California
Clovis is a city in Fresno County, California, United States. It was established in 1890 as a freight stop for the San Joaquin Valley Railroad by a group of Fresno businessmen and Michigan railroad speculator Marcus Pollasky. The railroad bought the land from two farmers and named the station after one of them, Clovis Cole. Pollasky then developed a town on the site, also named Clovis. The Green Bay Phoenix men's basketball team is an NCAA Division I college basketball team competing in the Horizon League for the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay. They are coached by Doug Gottlieb.
