Rosario Central
Club Atlético Rosario Central (), more commonly referred to as Rosario Central, or simply Central, is a sports club based in Rosario, Argentina, that plays in the Argentine Primera División. The club was officially founded on 24 December 1889, by a group of British railway workers, taking its name from the British-owned Central Argentine Railway company. One of the oldest Argentine and Latin American teams, it is considered a pioneer in its hometown and the only one of current Santa Fe province teams to have won an international title organised by CONMEBOL, the Copa Conmebol, won by the club in 1995 Copa CONMEBOL, 1995. Originally a member of the Rosario's Football Association, the club affiliated itself to the Argentine Football Association (AFA) in 1939. Elías Gómez (footballer, Born 1994)
Elías José Gómez (born 9 June 1994) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Vélez Sarsfield. Career Gómez began his career with Rosario Central in the youth team, joining in 2006. Before starting his senior career with Rosario Central, he had a short loan spell with Sportivo Las Heras in 2013. He featured for the first time for Rosario Central on 23 November 2013 during a defeat away to Olimpo. He subsequently made sixteen appearances across the following three campaigns in all competitions. On 2 February 2016, Defensa y Justicia completed the loan signing of Gómez. He remained with the club for the 2016 and 2016–17 seasons, playing in twelve matches before returning to Rosario in June 2017. In January 2019, Gómez joined fellow top-flight side Argentinos Juniors on loan. He scored his first senior goal on 18 February against Estudiantes. Maximiliano Alberto Lovera (born 9 March 1999) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a winger for Primera División club Rosario Central. Club career Rosario Central Lovera joined the Rosario Central senior squad for the 2016 Argentine Primera División season, making his professional debut on 2 May 2016 during a loss to Gimnasia y Esgrima. Jeremías Conan Ledesma (born 13 February 1993) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for River Plate. Club career Ledesma had a spell in the ranks of Racing Club de Pergamino, which preceded a move to Rosario Central in 2006. He first appeared in the club's first-team squad in June 2013 when he was an unused substitute for Primera B Nacional matches versus Instituto and Deportivo Merlo. Diego Becker
Diego Eugenio Becker (born 24 November 1997) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Ethnikos Achna in the Cypriot First Division. Club career Becker was promoted into the first-team of Rosario Central during the 2016–17 Argentine Primera División campaign. He was an unused substitute on three occasions before making his professional debut in June 2017 against San Martín, featuring for the final twenty-seven minutes of a 1–1 draw. After twelve appearances for Rosario up until the end of 2018–19, Becker departed on loan for the 2019–20 campaign to Primera B Nacional's Alvarado. Becker scored for the first time on 13 October 2019 as he netted twice in a 3–2 victory over Estudiantes. After a few loan spells, Becker finally left Rosario in January 2022 to join Instituto on a permanently deal until the end of 2022.
