2017–18 Red Star Belgrade Season
The 2017–18 season was Red Star's 12th in the Serbian SuperLiga and 72nd consecutive season in the top flight of Yugoslav and Serbian football. The club participated in the Serbian SuperLiga, the Serbian Cup and the UEFA Europa League. It was the first time they have played in the UEFA Europa League group stage since its rebranding, having previously participated in the 2007–08 UEFA Cup. The season covered the period from 29 June 2017 to 19 May 2018. FK Rad
FK Rad () is a football club based in Banjica, Belgrade, Serbia. They compete in the Belgrade Zone League, the fourth tier of the national league system. Founded in 1958, the club spent a total of 30 seasons in the top flight between 1987 and 2021, including five seasons in the Yugoslav First League, 12 seasons in the First League of Serbia and Montenegro, and 13 seasons in the Serbian SuperLiga. History The club was founded on 10 March 1958 by GP Rad, a local construction company. They acquired the league rights from FK Razvitak, a small club based in Banjica, going on to compete in the local leagues of Belgrade until the early 1970s. Surdulica
Surdulica ( sr-cyr, Сурдулица) is a town and municipality located in the Pčinja District of southern Serbia. As of 2022, the population of the town is 9,242, while the municipality has 16,991 inhabitants. History Massacre during World War I During World War I, 2,000–3,000 men were Surdulica massacre, massacred by Bulgarian forces in the town from 1915 to 1916. 1999 NATO bombings Over the course of the 1999 NATO bombing of Yugoslavia, Surdulica was subject to NATO bombings on multiple occasions. By the end of the bombing campaign, approximately fifty homes were destroyed and around 600 more were damaged in Surdulica alone. Surdulica City Stadium
Surdulica City Stadium (), currently known as the Efbet Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is a football stadium in Surdulica, Serbia. It is the home ground of Serbian Superliga side FK Radnik Surdulica. The stadium has a capacity of 3,312 spectators. Stadium exists from 1955 and from the beginning serves as a home ground of FK Radnik Surdulica. In 1987 the southern stand was created. In 2015 FK Radnik was promoted for the first time in its history to Serbian Superliga and in the summer of 2015 stadium was modernized and expanded; new stands on east, north and west were erected, as well as floodlight masts. Renovation works costs around 40 million dinars and expanded stadium's capacity to 3,312 seats. On 23 May 2018 stadium hosted the final of Serbian Cup between FK Partizan and FK Mladost Lučani. Bratislav Pejčić ( sr-cyrl, Братислав Пејчић, born 17 January 1983) is a Serbian retired footballer. He played in a midfielder position. Career Early career He started his career in FK Budućnost Banatski Dvor, who are now known as FK Banat Zrenjanin, with whom he spent about three and a half seasons. Mitchell Glenn Donald (born 10 December 1988) is a former professional association football, footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. FK Radnik Surdulica () is a professional football club based in Surdulica, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian First League, the second tier of the national league system. History The club was founded as Surdulički sportski klub (SSK) in 1926 on the initiative of Gradimir Antić, a local shoemaker, who brought the first football ball to Surdulica. They stopped operating with the onset of World War II and Axis occupation of Serbia. In 1946, the club was reestablished as FK Polet on the initiative of Borivoje Milenković and Božidar Stanković. Milorad Mažić
Milorad Mažić ( sr-Cyrl, Милорад Мажић, ; born 23 March 1973) is a former Serbian international association football referee. He became a FIFA referee in 2009. Beside working in the Serbian football league system, Mažić officiated numerous matches in the UEFA Champions League (including the 2018 final) and the Europa League, as well as the 2016 UEFA Super Cup. Filip Stojković
Filip Stojković ( sr-cyr, Филип Стојковић, ; born 22 January 1993) is a professional footballer who plays as a right-back for the Austrian Bundesliga club LASK. Born in Serbia, Stojković represented the Montenegro national team. Club career Early career Born in Ćuprija, Stojković grown up in Ražanj, where he started playing football with the local football club Bukovik.
