2017–18 Nevada Wolf Pack Men's Basketball Team
The 2017–18 Nevada Wolf Pack men's basketball team represented the University of Nevada, Reno during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Wolf Pack, led by third-year head coach Eric Musselman, played their home games at the Lawlor Events Center in Reno, Nevada as members of the Mountain West Conference. They finished the season 29–8, 15–3 in Mountain West play to win the Mountain West regular season championship. They defeated 2017–18 UNLV Runnin' Rebels basketball team, UNLV in the quarterfinals of the 2018 Mountain West Conference men's basketball tournament, Mountain West tournament before losing in the semifinals to 2017–18 San Diego State Aztecs men's basketball team, San Diego State. Eric Musselman
Eric Musselman (born November 19, 1964) is an American college basketball coach who is currently the head coach at the University of Southern California. He is the former head coach at the University of Arkansas, University of Nevada, Reno, the Sacramento Kings and the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Between head coaching stints at Golden State and Sacramento, Musselman served as an assistant for the Memphis Grizzlies under Mike Fratello. He moved to the college coaching ranks in 2012 as an assistant at Arizona State. From 2014 to 2019, he was the head coach for the Nevada Wolf Pack. The 2016–17 Fresno State Bulldogs men's basketball team represented California State University, Fresno during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. This was head coach Rodney Terry's sixth season at Fresno State. The Bulldogs played their home games at Save Mart Center as members of the Mountain West Conference. Tre'Shawn Thurman (born December 15, 1995) is an American professional basketball player for Wolves Twinsbet of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL). Cameron Jaleel Oliver (born July 11, 1996) is an American professional basketball player for the Liaoning Flying Leopards of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA).
