2017–18 Indian Super League Finals
The 2018 Indian Super League playoffs was fourth playoffs series in the Indian Super League, one of the top Indian professional football leagues. The playoffs began on 7 March 2018 and concluded with the final on 17 March 2018 in Bangalore. The top four teams from the 2017–18 ISL regular season had qualified for the playoffs. The semi-finals took place over two legs while the final was a one-off match at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium. Chennaiyin won the final after defeating Bengaluru 3–2. This would be the second time that Chennaiyin won the title. The defending champions from last season, ATK, failed to qualify for the playoffs this season and thus were not able to defend their title. Chennaiyin FC
Chennaiyin Football Club is an Indian professional football club based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The club competes in the Indian Super League (ISL), the top flight of Indian football. The club was founded in August 2014 during the inaugural season of the ISL. It has won the ISL Cup title on two occasions, in the 2015, 2017–18 seasons respectively. The club is owned by Vita Dani, Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan and Indian cricketer MS Dhoni. Odisha Football Club () is an Indian professional football club based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, that competes in the Indian Super League, the top flight of Indian football. Prior to the inaugural Indian Super League season, the club was founded as ''Delhi Dynamos Football Club''. In 2019, prior to the 2019–20 Indian Super League season, the club rebranded to ''Odisha Football Club'', and relocated to its current base, the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar. Jonatan Lucca (born 2 June 1994) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Uzbekistan Super League club Pakhtakor. Career A.S. Muringothumalil Santosh Kumar (born 12 May 1975) is an Indian professional football referee who officiates primarily in the I-League and Indian Super League. In 2012 it was announced that Kumar would be one of three referees in India to be made professional by the All India Football Federation. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (also known as Fatorda Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium in Margao, Goa, India. The venue has been used to host both football and cricket matches. Anirudh Thapa (born 15 January 1998) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Indian Super League club Mohun Bagan.
