Bradley Cole Underwood (born December 14, 1963) is the current head coach for the Illinois Fighting Illini men's basketball team. Previously, he served as head coach at Oklahoma State Cowgirls basketball, Oklahoma State, Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks basketball, Stephen F. Austin, Dodge City Community College, and Daytona Beach Community College and assistant coach at Western Illinois Leathernecks men's basketball, Western Illinois, Kansas State Wildcats men's basketball, Kansas State, and South Carolina Gamecocks men's basketball, South Carolina. 2017 National Invitation Tournament
The 2017 National Invitation Tournament was a single-elimination tournament of 32 NCAA Division I teams that were not selected to participate in the 2017 NCAA tournament. The annual tournament was played on campus sites in the first three rounds (the host team being the team with the higher seeding), with the semifinals and championship game being held at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The tournament began on Tuesday, March 14 and ended on Thursday, March 30. The NIT Selection Show aired Sunday March 12 on ESPNU. Tracy Maurice Abrams Jr. (born February 6, 1992) is an American basketball player who last played for KK Sloboda Užice of the Basketball League of Serbia. Abrams is from Chicago, Illinois, and played college basketball for the Illinois Fighting Illini. Jaylon Tate (born January 16, 1995) is an American professional basketball player for Szedeák of the Nemzeti Bajnokság I/A. Tate played college basketball for the University of Illinois. John Groce
John Gordon Groce (; born September 7, 1971) is an American college basketball coach, currently the head coach for the Akron Zips men's basketball team. Prior to coaching for Akron, he was the head coach at Illinois and Ohio. Coaching career Player and assistant coach Groce graduated from Taylor University, an NAIA Division II school in Upland, Indiana, in 1994 and played basketball for the school while he was there. Groce started his coaching career as an assistant with his alma mater, Taylor University, under Paul Patterson from 1993 to 1996.
