2017–18 Eastern Washington Eagles Women's Basketball Team
The 2017–18 Eastern Washington Eagles Women's basketball team represented Eastern Washington University during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Eagles were led by seventeenth year head coach Wendy Schuller and played their home games at Reese Court. They were members of the Big Sky Conference. They finished the season 17–14, 12–6 in Big Sky play to finish in a tie for third place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Big Sky women's tournament to Portland State. Wendy Schuller
Wendy Luebbers Schuller is an American basketball coach who was, until 2021, the head coach for the Eastern Washington Eagles women's basketball team, a position she had held since 2001. Born in Redlands, California, Schuller attended and played for Fresno Pacific University as a shooting guard for the Fresno Pacific Sunbirds, Sunbirds. Before graduating in 1992, she was selected as an National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, NAIA Academic All-American. As coach at Eastern Washington, Schuller has advanced to the Big Sky Conference women's basketball tournament, Big Sky Conference tournament 16 times. Plano West Senior High School (commonly known as West, Plano West, or PWSH) is a public high school in Plano, Texas serving high school juniors and seniors. Plano West is named after its geographic location within West Plano. Horizon High School is a public high school in Scottsdale, Arizona in the Paradise Valley Unified School District. The school was established in 1980. The current principal is Shelley Strohfus. About 2,400 students are enrolled in the school. The mascot is a Husky.
