The 2017–18 Butler Bulldogs men's basketball team represented Butler University in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. LaVall Jurrant Jordan (born April 16, 1979) is an American college basketball coach who is currently an assistant coach at DePaul Blue Demons men's basketball, DePaul University. He previously served as the head coach at Butler Bulldogs men's basketball, Butler University and Milwaukee Panthers men's basketball, Milwaukee, as well as assistant coach at Michigan Wolverines men's basketball, Michigan, Iowa Hawkeyes men's basketball, Iowa, and Butler Bulldogs men's basketball, Butler. The 2016–17 Xavier Musketeers men's basketball team represented Xavier University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Kethan Savage
Kethan Savage (born September 4, 1993) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Westchester Knicks of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for George Washington and Butler. High school career Savage attended Chantilly High School for two years before transferring to Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia. Savage led Episcopal to its first league championship since 1998 as a junior by hitting the decisive three pointer. As a senior, he averaged 19.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. Chris Holtmann
Christopher Adam Holtmann (born November 11, 1971) is an American college basketball coach who is currently the head coach at DePaul University. Holtmann grew up in Nicholasville, Kentucky, and started his college playing career in-state at Brescia College in Owensboro. After two seasons, he transferred to Taylor University, where he played for his final two seasons. In 1994, his senior year, he earned All-America honors and Taylor hit number one in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) rankings. Holtmann got his start in coaching as a graduate assistant at Taylor in 1997. The next year, he became an assistant coach at Geneva College, then returned to his alma mater as an assistant in 1999.
