2017 VAFA Women's Season
The 2017 VAFA Women's season was the inaugural season of the VAFA Women's (VAFAW) competition. 40 teams competed across five divisions, and unlike the Victorian Amateur Football Association, VAFA men's competition, there was no promotion and relegation system. West Brunswick Amateur Football Club
West is one of the four cardinal directions or points of the compass. It is the opposite direction from east and is the direction in which the Sun sets on the Earth. Collegians Football Club, nicknamed the Lions, is an Australian rules football club based in the Melbourne suburb of Albert Park. The Monash Blues Football Club is an Australian rules football club that represents Monash University in the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA). The Old Brighton Grammarians Football Club, nicknamed the Tonners, is an Australian rules football club based in the Melbourne suburb of Brighton. The club maintains a close relationship with Brighton Grammar School. The Old Geelong Sporting Club (known as the 'OGs') is an amateur men's and women's sports club based at Como Park, South Yarra, Victoria. The teams compete in the "Premier A & B" Divisions of the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA).
