2017 Taça Da Liga Final
The 2017 Taça da Liga Final was the final match of the 2016–17 Taça da Liga, the tenth season of the Taça da Liga. It was played on 29 January 2017 at Estádio Algarve. The competition involved the 35 clubs playing in the top two tiers of the Portuguese football league system – 18 from Primeira Liga and 17 from Segunda Liga – during the 2016–17 season. Reserve sides of Primeira Liga teams which played in the 2016–17 Segunda Liga were excluded from the competition. Moreirense defeated Braga 1–0 to win their first national cup in their first appearance in a national cup final. Ença Fati (born 11 August 1993) is a Bissau-Guinean professional footballer who plays as a winger for Saudi First Division League club Al-Ain. Frédéric Ferreira Maciel (born 15 March 1994) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a winger for First Professional Football League club CSKA 1948. The Estádio do Marítimo, formerly and often still referred to as Estádio dos Barreiros, is a football stadium located in the city of Funchal, Madeira, Portugal, and is owned by Club Sport Marítimo, where it plays its matches. Parque de Jogos Comendador Joaquim de Almeida Freitas is a multi-use stadium in Moreira de Cónegos, Braga, Portugal. It is currently used for football (soccer), football matches and is the home stadium of Moreirense F.C., Moreirense. The stadium was constructed in 2002 as a result of two successful back to back promotions by the club. The stadium was constructed to play host to Moreirense F.C., Moreirense's home games in the 2002-03 Primeira Liga season. During the season the club came under great criticism due to its lighting towers as well as its safety conditions around the ground. This led the club to leave the stadium temporarily for a few weeks so that the League association can investigate whether the appropriate facilities and conditions were in place to ensure the safety of the supporters and the players.
