2017 Limerick Senior Hurling Championship
The 2017 Limerick Senior Hurling Championship was the 123rd staging of the Limerick Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Limerick County Board in 1887. The championship ran from 5 May to 15 October 2017. Patrickswell entered the championship as the defending champions, however, they were beaten by Kilmallock in the semi-finals. Bruff were relegated. The final was played on 15 October 2017 at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick, between Na Piarsaigh and Kilmallock, in what was their first ever meeting in the final. Na Piarsaigh won the match by 1–22 to 2–14 to claim their fourth championship title overall and a first title in two years. The Limerick Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the Lyons of Limerick County Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship and abbreviated to the Limerick PIHC) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Limerick GAA, Limerick County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association and contested by the top-ranking intermediate clubs in the County Limerick, county of Limerick in Ireland. It is the second tier overall in the entire Limerick hurling championship system. Adare GAA
Adare GAA club is a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) club based in Adare, County Limerick, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. Adare have reached the Limerick Senior Hurling Championship, County Senior Hurling Final on 12 occasions. After losing the finals of 1968, 1986, 1990, 1993 and 1996, they finally won their first championship in 2001 and successfully defended it in 2002. Cappamore
Cappamore () is a small town in northeast County Limerick in the midwest of Ireland. It is also a parish in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly. Location and facilities Cappamore is 20 km east of Limerick city, on the banks of the Mulcair River. Caherconlish
Caherconlish () is a village in County Limerick, Ireland. It is in a townland and civil parish of the same name. Location The village of Caherconlish is located 16 km southeast of Limerick City in east County Limerick. It is one half of the parish of Caherconlish/Caherline in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly. Caherline GAA (Irish: ''Cathair Laighin'') is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in County Limerick, Ireland. It is based in the parish of Caherline/Caherconlish in the east division of Limerick GAA. History The club was founded in 1884, making it one of the oldest clubs in county Limerick. The early years of the club were its most successful, winning the Limerick Senior Hurling Championship on three occasions; 1896, 1905 and 1907. Ballybrown GAA
Ballybrown GAA club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Ballybrown, County Limerick, Ireland. The club fields teams in both hurling and Gaelic football.
