2017 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship
The 2017 FIVB Women's Club World Championship was the 11th tournament. It was held for the first time at Kobe Green Arena in Kobe, Japan. Eight teams competed in the tournament, including four wild cards. Vakıfbank İstanbul won their second world title, defeating Rio de Janeiro in the final, 3–0. Zhu Ting was elected the most valuable player. Osasco Voleibol Clube is a professional women's volleyball club, based in Osasco, São Paulo (state), Brazil. It includes volleyball teams for females of all ages, children through adult. Since the 2021-22 season the club plays under the name Osasco/São Cristóvão Saúde. History The club was founded in 1993, by the BCN bank, as BCN/Guarujá and changed headquarters' city in 1996, thereafter becoming known as BCN/Osasco. The club was renamed to Finasa/Osasco in 2003. Zoran Terzić
Zoran Terzić ( sr-Cyrl, Зоран Терзић, born 9 July 1966) is a Serbian volleyball coach. He was the coach of the Serbia women's national volleyball team between 2002 and 2022, and under his leadership the team won 20 European, World and Olympic medals. In 2024, Terzić was again named head coach of the Serbia women's national team. On club level he coaches WVC Dynamo Kazan. As a player, Terzić passed through all selections of the Red Star club in Belgrade between 1979 and 1986. He stopped playing in order to pursue his studies. He graduated at the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in 1998. Hisamitsu Springs
is a women's volleyball team based in Kobe, Hyogo, Kobe city, Hyogo and Tosu, Saga, Tosu city, Saga, Japan. It plays in V.League (Japan), V.League 1. The club was founded in 1948. In July 2020 the team announced an official name change from "Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical Springs" to "Hisamitsu Springs" and unveiled a new team mascot and logo. On August 7, 2020 Hisamitsu Springs concluded " a cooperation agreement with Tosu City to further revitalize the region and economy through the volleyball business, and we will proceed with concrete efforts".
