Chesapeake Energy Arena
Paycom Center (originally known as the Ford Center from 2002 to 2010, Oklahoma City Arena from 2010 to 2011, and Chesapeake Energy Arena from 2011 to 2021) is an arena located in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States. Big 12 Conference Women's Basketball Tournament
The Big 12 Conference women's basketball tournament is the championship women's basketball tournament in the Big 12 Conference. The tournament is set to be held at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri until 2031. Due to a major conference realignment that significantly impacted the Big 12, the 2025 women's tournament will be the first tournament with 16 teams participating. At the beginning of the 2024–25 season, Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, and Utah joined the conference. The tournament is sponsored by Phillips 66. The Tournament has been held every year since 1997, except in 2020 when it was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. All sixteen teams will participate in the tournament. The 2017 Phillips 66 Big 12 men's basketball tournament was a postseason men's basketball tournament for the Big 12 Conference. It was played from March 8 to 11, in Kansas City, Missouri at the Sprint Center. Iowa State received the conference's automatic bid to the 2017 NCAA tournament with an 80–74 win over West Virginia in the finals. Seeding The Tournament consisted of a 10 team single-elimination tournament with the top 6 seeds receiving a bye. Teams have been seeded by record within the conference, with a tiebreaker system used to seed teams with identical conference records. Kristy Wallace (born 3 January 1996) is an Australian basketball player who last played for the Indiana Fever of the WNBA. She played college basketball for the Baylor Lady Bears. College career Wallace played four seasons of college basketball in the United States for the Baylor Lady Bears. She earned Big 12 All-Freshman Team in 2015 and Big 12 All-Defensive Team and First-team All-Big 12 in 2018. Professional career Wallace was picked in the second round of the 2018 WNBA draft by the Atlanta Dream. She later signed a two-year deal with the Canberra Capitals. A knee injury in her second game with Canberra in late 2018 saw her not play again until 2021 in the NBL1 South with the Melbourne Tigers. The 2016–17 Texas Longhorns women's basketball team represented the University of Texas at Austin in the 2016–17 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. It was head coach Karen Aston's fifth season at Texas. The Longhorns were members of the Big 12 Conference and played their home games at the Frank Erwin Center.
