2017 Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Soccer Season
The 2017 Atlantic Coast Conference men's soccer season was the 64th season of men's varsity soccer in the conference. The Wake Forest Demon Deacons men's soccer, Wake Forest Demon Deacons and the North Carolina Tar Heels men's soccer, North Carolina are the defending regular season champions for the Atlantic and Coastal Conferences, respectively. Wake Forest are the defending ACC Men's Soccer Tournament, ACC tournament champions. NC State Wolfpack Men's Soccer
The NC State Wolfpack men's soccer team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. The team is a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference, which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I (NCAA), Division I. NC State's first men's soccer team was fielded in 1950. The team plays its home games at Dail Soccer Stadium in Raleigh. The Pack is coached by Marc Hubbard. The Wolfpack had much of their success in the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s, where over the span of 10 seasons, the Pack appeared in eight NCAA Tournaments. Alumni Stadium (Notre Dame)
Alumni Stadium is the on-campus association football, soccer stadium in natural grass at the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana. The current tenants are the Notre Dame Fighting Irish men's soccer, Notre Dame Fighting Irish men's & Notre Dame Fighting Irish women's soccer, women's soccer teams. The 3,007 -seat stadium was built between April 26, 2008, and September 1, 2009. It was first used on September 4, 2009, when the women's team played North Carolina and the men's team played Wake Forest. Capacity is increased via a grass berm on the east end of the ground. Robert Fetzer Field was a stadium located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and was the home of the lacrosse and soccer teams of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the North Carolina Tar Heels. The four teams that called Fetzer field their home ( men's and women's lacrosse and men's and women's soccer) have a combined total of 26 national championships. Riggs Field is a 6,500-capacity soccer-specific stadium located in Clemson, South Carolina. The stadium is home to the Clemson Tigers men's and women's soccer teams. It has also hosted the NCAA Men's Soccer Championship in 1987. The stadium opened for soccer in 1980, and was renovated in 1987, and again in 2013.
