2017 All-Ireland Under-21 Football Championship
The 2017 All-Ireland Under 21 Football Championship was an inter-county gaelic football competition between 31 of the 32 counties of Ireland (Kilkenny did not participate). Provincial championships were held in Connacht, Leinster, Munster and Ulster with the winners progressing to the All-Ireland semi-finals. This was the final year of the Under 21 football championship. Beginning in 2018, it was replaced by an Under 20 championship following a vote at the GAA congress on 26 February 2016. Dublin beat Galway by 2-13 to 2-7 in the final on 29 April. Con O'Callaghan (Gaelic Footballer)
Con O'Callaghan (born April 1996) is an Irish sportsman. He plays Gaelic football for the Dublin county football team. He is a dual player for the Cuala club, in football senior "A" and hurling senior "A". He was also a dual player at inter-county minor level. O'Callaghan is a capable free-taker; however, with Dublin he was not required to take them, when Dean Rock and Cormac Costello were on the field. Playing career Club O'Callaghan plays football and hurling for the Cuala club. Mullingar
Mullingar ( ; ) is the county town of County Westmeath in Ireland. It is the third most populous town in the Midland Region, Ireland, Midland Region, with a population of 22,667 in the 2022 census of Ireland, 2022 census. Brewster Park (Enniskillen)
Brewster Park is a Gaelic Athletic Association, GAA stadium in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. It is the home ground of the Enniskillen Gaels and the County ground of Fermanagh GAA. The ground was renovated in 2007 and now has a capacity of roughly 18,000. The ground was named for Mickey Brewster, a Fermanagh and Enniskillen Gaels player and father of Paul Brewster (Gaelic footballer), Paul Brewster. The Cavan County Board () or Cavan GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) in Ireland, and is responsible for the administration of Gaelic games in County Cavan. Pairc Ui Rinn
Park (), also known as South Lochs, is a huge area of land connected to the rest of Lewis only by a narrow neck between Loch Seaforth and Loch Erisort. This had a wall called ''Gàrradh an Tighearna'' (''"The Laird's Dyke"'') built across it by the Earl of Seaforth in the early 17th century, the outline of which can still be seen. Only the north of Park is now inhabited: settlements in the south were cleared by Sir James Matheson in the nineteenth century. A famous deer raid took place here in 1887 as a demonstration by starving people, commemorated by a broch resembling a cairn at the Eishken junction. Dungarvan () is a coastal town and harbour in County Waterford, on the south-east coast of Ireland. Prior to the merger of Waterford County Council with Waterford City Council in 2014, Dungarvan was the county town and administrative centre of County Waterford. Waterford City and County Council retains administrative offices in the town. The town is in a townland and Civil parishes in Ireland, civil parish of the same name. Fraher Field
Fraher Field () is a GAA stadium, located in Dungarvan, County Waterford, owned by the Waterford GAA County Board. It has a total capacity of around 15,000. History Dan Fraher (1852–1929), an Irish language activist and scholar and promoter of Gaelic games, leased the land in 1885 and bought it outright in 1912. The stadium was renamed in his honour in 1995. With the obvious exception of Croke Park, Fraher Field has been the venue for more all-Ireland senior hurling finals than any other venue, having hosted the 1903, 1905, 1907 and 1911 deciders. Various improvements have been made to the stadium since 1995, including the addition of a new stand on one side of the pitch, and the improvement of standing facilities in general. Killian Spillane is a Gaelic footballer who plays for the Templenoe club and the Kerry county team. Killian Spillane is the son of Tom. His uncles Mick and Pat also played for Kerry, as has his brother Adrian. Inter-county Minor Spillane first played for Kerry in the 2013 All-Ireland Minor Football Championship. Páirc Uí Rinn (), also known as Páirc Chríostóir Uí Rinn, is a Gaelic Athletic Association stadium located between Ballinlough and Ballintemple in Cork. It was previously known as Flower Lodge and was used as an association football stadium.
