2016–17 Vanderbilt Commodores Women's Basketball Team
The 2016–17 Vanderbilt Commodores women's basketball team represented Vanderbilt University in the 2016–17 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Commodores, led by first year head coach Stephanie White, played their home games at Memorial Gymnasium and were members of the Southeastern Conference. They finished the season 14–16, 4–12 in SEC play to finish in thirteenth place. They lost in the first round of the SEC women's tournament to Alabama. Stephanie White
Stephanie Joanne White (formerly Stephanie White-McCarty; born June 20, 1977) is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach of the Indiana Fever of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She was previously head coach of the WNBA Connecticut Sun in the 2023 and 2024 seasons and Vanderbilt Commodores women's basketball team from 2016 to 2021. Before Vanderbilt, she was the head coach of the WNBA Indiana Fever for the 2015 and 2016 seasons. As an intercollegiate athlete, she was named the winner of the Wade Trophy in 1999, which recognizes the top female basketball player in the nation. White was the 1995 Indiana Miss Basketball and was also named 1995 Gatorade National Player of the Year and the USA Today National Player of the Year. Antioch High School (AHS) is a public high school located in Antioch, Tennessee, USA. It is located at 1900 Hobson Pike. It is a comprehensive high school for grades 9–12 and one of 19 high schools administered by Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools. History Antioch High School has a history dating back to 1932. To serve the community of Antioch, the Board of Education purchased a tract of land in southeastern Davidson County and erected a brick school building. In the fall of 1933, the four-year high school formally opened. The first graduating class had 24 students and a faculty of seven. Bullard, Texas
Bullard is a small town in Smith and Cherokee counties in the east-central part of the U.S. state of Texas. U.S. Route 69 and Farm-to-Market Roads 2137, 2493, and 344 intersect here, about south of the larger city of Tyler. Its population was 3,318 at the 2020 census, up from 2,463 at the 2010 census. The Smith County portion of the town is part of the Tyler metropolitan statistical area, while the Cherokee County portion is part of the Jacksonville micropolitan statistical area. Bullard was earlier known as "Etna" and "Hewsville". The town is named for John H. Bullard, a Confederate soldier, and Emma Eugenia (Erwin) Bullard.
