2016–17 Princeton Tigers Men's Basketball Team
The 2016–17 Princeton Tigers men's basketball team represented Princeton University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Tigers, led by sixth-year head coach Mitch Henderson, played their home games at Jadwin Gymnasium as members of the Ivy League. They finished the season 23–7, 14–0 in Ivy League play to win the Ivy League regular season championship. They defeated 2016–17 Penn Quakers men's basketball team, Penn and 2016–17 Yale Bulldogs men's basketball team, Yale to win the inaugural 2017 Ivy League men's basketball tournament, Ivy League tournament championship. As a result, they earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2017 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, NCAA tournament as the No. 12 seed in the West Region. Mitch Henderson
Mitchell Gordon Henderson (born August 14, 1975) is an American college basketball coach, currently serving as head coach for the Princeton Tigers men's basketball team. Before taking the Princeton job in 2011, he served as an assistant for the Northwestern Wildcats men's basketball team for 11 seasons under Bill Carmody. Henderson was a member of three consecutive Ivy League championship Princeton teams as a player (two of which went undefeated in conference, the first tying the school record with 19 consecutive wins and the second achieving 20). He was a co-captain of the second of these undefeated league champions along with Steve Goodrich. Harborfields High School
Harborfields High School is a four-year secondary school located in Greenlawn, New York, United States. It functions as the sole high school for Harborfields Central School District, encompassing the communities of Centerport and Greenlawn along with parts of Huntington and Northport. In 2011, the school was ranked 88th on ''Newsweek''s list of Top 1300 High Schools in America. The Class of 1960 was the first graduating class, with about 130 graduates from Centerport and Greenlawn only. That first class used the building for four years as it was being completed. Greenlawn is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in Suffolk County, New York, United States. Located on Long Island in the Town of Huntington, the population was 13,742 at the 2010 census. Students primarily attend the Harborfields Central School District.
