2016–17 Duquesne Dukes Women's Basketball Team
The 2016–17 Duquesne Dukes women's basketball team represented Duquesne University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Dukes, led by fourth year head coach Dan Burt, played their home games at the Palumbo Center as members of the Atlantic 10 Conference. They finished the season 18–16, 8–8 in A-10 play to finish in a tie for seventh place. They advanced to the championship game of the A-10 women's tournament where they lost to Dayton. Bishop Canevin High School
Bishop Canevin High School is a Jesuit-inspired high school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. The school is located in the East Carnegie neighborhood of the city. History In 1958, Bishop John Dearden, Bishop of Pittsburgh, announced plans for a brand new co-institutional diocesan high school to serve the Chartiers Valley on Morange Road, next to St. Paul Orphanage, which is now St. Paul Seminary. The school was to be named Chartiers Catholic High School. The name was changed soon after to recognize former Bishop of Pittsburgh Regis Canevin. Father Leo G. Henry was then named the first headmaster. Canevin High School opened to 435 boys and girls on September 10, 1959; in June 1963, 303 students graduated. Eddie Benton
Eddie Benton, Jr. (born February 16, 1975) is an American college women's basketball coach, currently serving as an assistant coach for the Robert Morris women's basketball team. He is best known for his collegiate playing career at the University of Vermont between 1992 and 1996. In his senior season he was named the Frances Pomeroy Naismith Award winner, given annually to the best college senior player in the country who is or shorter. Benton then had a short-lived professional career before becoming a college coach. Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School is a high school located in Ajax, Ontario, Canada. It was opened in 2001 along with its twin school J. Clarke Richardson Collegiate. Notre Dame and Richardson share the same building, with Notre Dame occupying the north wing and Richardson the south. Wellsburg is a city in and the county seat of Brooke County, West Virginia, United States. The 2020 United States census, 2020 census recorded a population of 2,455. Robert Morris Colonials
The Robert Morris Colonials are the athletic teams for Robert Morris University, in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh. The Colonials compete in NCAA Division I (Football Championship Subdivision, FCS, formerly Division I-AA, in football).
