2016 Women's Asian Champions Trophy
The 2016 Women's Asian Champions Trophy was the fourth edition of the Women's Asian Champions Trophy. The tournament was held in Singapore. The top five Asian teams (China women's national field hockey team, China, India women's national field hockey team, India, Japan women's national field hockey team, Japan, South Korea women's national field hockey team, South Korea and Malaysia women's national field hockey team, Malaysia) participated in the tournament which involved round-robin league among all teams followed by play-offs for final positions. Qnet was the official sponsor. Siti Noor Amarina Ruhani (born 21 January 1987) is a field hockey player from Malaysia. Career International hockey Siti Ruhani made her international debut for Malaysia in 2006 at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. Since her debut, Siti has been a mainstay in the Malaysian national team. At the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, Siti again represented the national team where they finished in tenth place. Rani Rampal
Rani Rampal (born 4 December 1994) is an Indian coach and former field hockey player. At the age of 15, she was the youngest in the national squad of the 2010 World Cup. She played as a forward. In her career, Rampal played 212 international matches and scored 134 goals. She also acted as a striker and doubled up as mid-fielder. In 2020, the Government of India honoured her with the Padma Shri. Early life Rani was born on 4 December 1994 in Shahabad Markanda in the Kurukshetra district of Haryana.
