2016 Missouri Valley Conference Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2016 Missouri Valley Conference men's basketball tournament, popularly referred to as "Arch Madness", was the Missouri Valley Conference's postseason tournament which was held March 3–6, 2016 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis. The tournament was won by 2015–16 Northern Iowa Panthers men's basketball team, Northern Iowa, who defeated 2015–16 Evansville Purple Aces men's basketball team, Evansville in the championship game. As a result, Northern Iowa received the conference's automatic bid to the 2016 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, NCAA tournament. Seeds Teams were seeded by conference record, with ties broken by record between the tied teams followed by non-conference strength of schedule, if necessary. The top six seeds received first round byes. Scottrade Center
The Enterprise Center is an 18,096-seat arena located in Downtown St. Louis, downtown St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Its primary tenant is the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League, but it is also used for other functions, such as NCAA basketball, NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Championship, NCAA hockey, Concert tour, concerts, professional wrestling and more. In a typical year, the facility hosts about 175 events.
